Join us for "Broadway Meets the Met," the final concert of Meistersingers' 25th Anniversary season, where the worlds of musical theater and opera unite through the power of choral music. This thoughtfully curated program spans three centuries of beloved ensemble pieces, featuring the exhilarating "Masquerade" from Phantom of the Opera, the rousing "March of the Toreadors" from Carmen, the spirited "Polovetsian Dances" from Prince Igor, and the triumphant "Anvil Chorus" from Il Trovatore, among many other cherished choral works.

Under the direction of Dr. Brian Dehn, the Meistersingers will present masterworks by composers including Bizet, Mozart, Verdi, Bernstein, and Sondheim, exploring the full dramatic range of both opera and Broadway through powerful choruses enhanced by featured soloists. From the haunting ensemble work in "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" to the inspiring hope of "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Make Our Garden Grow," this concert celebrates how choral music brings communities together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
