Face to Face: Palestrina and Poulenc

A concert of monumental a cappella choral classics. These deeply spiritual pieces were written over 3 centuries apart, but all show how both composers were similarly moved to write two of the greatest Mass settings and motets in the choral idiom. Tremendously beautiful melodies and lush harmonies are in every second of this beautiful music! A passionate evening not to be missed!
